Deep in the African rainforest of Gabon, a crack team is tracking a 180-kilogram silverback with a bouncer’s physique, called Mussiru. They must get close to be accepted into his world. But this is no mountain gorilla of ‘Gorillas in the Mist’ fame. Seldom seen by humans in the wild, this gorilla species is shyer, more aggressive and spread over a much bigger rainforest. It will take a journey to a distant land, wracked by war and turmoil, to find the holy grail this team needs to safeguard Mussiru … and save the very rainforest itself.
